58-Year-Old Runs 100th Sub 3-Hour Marathon

For Jeff Mescal, 58, Disney World really is the “Happiest Place on Earth.” The three-time Guinness World Record holder ran his 100th sub three-hour marathon at the Walt Disney World Marathon on January 7, in 2:57:26.
There was added pressure, Mescal told Runner’s World, because of this superlative and the fact that he ran his first marathon at Disney in 2006, which would bring the moment full circle. But with a couple of miles to go, Mescal knew he had bagged the sub-three. Runner’s World
