New Zealand runner disqualified from cross-country race for spitting

Robbie Johnston, a former Olympian, was disqualified from a cross-country race that took place in Dunedin over the weekend for spitting. In the age of COVID-19, spitting is now a major running no-go. All runners, racing or not, should avoid spitting, sneezing and coughing on those around them. Read more on Canadian Running.
