JP Sportswear Celebrates One Year at New Facility

LYNWOOD, California (November 13, 2020)– JP Sportswear; a leading Southern California based premium active apparel and accessory manufacturing company with more than four decades of experience, reaches the one-year mark at their new facility in Lynwood, CA. This year has been full of challenges (for everyone!) and here are a few of the success stories the company achieved in 2020:

– JP Sportswear launched JP Medicalwear, a subsidiary focused on providing critical personal protective equipment (PPE) products to medical professionals fighting COVID-19. JP Medicalwear remains committed to providing PPE for the duration of the pandemic.

– In the process of supporting the front-line healthcare community, JP Medicalwear upgraded their initial offering of Level-1 gowns to Level-2 medical isolation gowns.

The Level-2 gowns meet FDA standards and are allowed for use in higher risk situations like the intensive care unit (ICU).

– The company has remained committed to keeping employees working throughout the pandemic. Following the initial government closure for COVID-19 in March, JP Sportswear retained and retrained all of their employees to produce PPE.

– Finally, the company is making all of these changes while still supporting their longtime D2C activewear clients. Outdoor activity in recreational sports has experienced a huge upswing in participation during the pandemic and with that many of JP Sportswear current clients are seeing a large spike in demand for production of high-quality active apparel.
